In a new high tone, Paul Polakis responded Paul Polakis after Socrates Famellos decided to delegate him from the Parliamentary Group of Syriza, further escalating the intra-party crisis in Koumoundourou.
In a new post, the member for Chania personally attacks chairman of the party, accusing him of “watching the dissolution without wanting or being able to react”, while insisting that he remains politically and ideologically identified with Syriza.
“I SYRIZA-PS was and will be,” he says, making it clear that he considers his deletion from the Parliamentary Group to be unjust and unjustified.
Paulos Polakis speaks of prejudicial treatment, noting in accentuated style that he “broke the global record“, as he says he is the third president in a row to distract him from the party’s parliamentary group.
At the same time, he complains that the decision was taken without prior information and without any explanation, while he also turns his fire on Syriza cadres who, according to him, “have moved to another party” or are acting as “representatives of another party”.
The member for Chania claims that all he was asking in the last few days was for the meeting of the Political Secretariat to take decisions on the course of the party, presenting the delegation as a sign of political weakness of the leadership.
He concluded his post by sending a message to all sides of the internal party front, saying that “all the people will judge us in the end”, while announcing continuation of the confrontation at the upcoming meeting of the Political Secretariat.
The new Polakis intervention confirms that the crisis in Syriazas is not only not de-escalating, but is now entering a phase of open rupture, with the conflict acquiring characteristics of a total questioning of the leadership and the party’s strategy.
Paul Polakis’ post:
“I broke the world record !!!
Three presidents in a row have expelled me from the parliamentary group.(!!!)
The last one ,without ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTIFICATION!!
He allows his MPs to declare that they have moved to another party, or his executives to play the role of representatives of another party and he dares to remove me from the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group because I have been asking for days for the Political Secretariat to meet to take decisions!!!
Unfortunately, he is such and apparently he is watching the dissolution without wanting or being able to react!
He is taking me out of the Parliamentary Group WITHOUT any briefing beforehand, like the previous one!
I SYRIZA-PS WILL BE AND WILL BE…..
ALL THE PEOPLE WILL TAKE OUR TERMINATION !!!
As it has judged the previous presidents and me in the past!!
We will tell the Political Secretariat!!
Paul Polakis
Member of the Parliament of Chania, member of the General Assembly of Syriza-PS”
