The PASOK seems to be facing major turbulence, especially in Thessaloniki but also in the North of Greece in general. Greece, which is also reflected in the numbers of the polls.

It was known that the PASOK‘s ratings in Thessaloniki were not particularly high. And things got worse after the resignation of Charis Kastanidis and Antonis Saoulidis, the two executives who came first in crosses with the party.

According to a poll conducted in Thessaloniki, PASOK comes… fifth, behind New Democracy, Maria Karystianou, Alexis Tsipras and Kyriakos Velopoulos. And with a particularly low percentage.

To be clear, however, apart from New Democracy which has a double-digit percentage and Maria Karustianou which barely has a double-digit number, the other formations are all in single digits. But when they talk about winning by even one vote in Charilaou Trikoupis and there are polls that show you as the fifth party in the second largest city in the country, something is wrong.

And this is a poll before the revelations about the Androulakis property and the one million abroad that he forgot to declare on his “Behind the Scenes”.

It is true that PASOK in the big urban centres is in trouble. As well as in many regions of northern Greece, as in many prefectures it comes third or fourth party.

Finally, for what it’s worth, the names of the parliamentary candidates in the poll questionnaires show a weak, at least for now, ballot for PASOK: Rania Thraskia and Petros Pappas who joined the party from Syriza and beyond that, cadres who were considered with PASOK and in 2023 but failed to get elected.

Perhaps that’s why some people in PASOK started to cunningly question the polls, resulting in the well-known pollster Stratos Fanaras putting the various cunning of Charilaou Trikoupis in their place.
