Adonis Georgiades commented on the presentation of Maria Karystianou‘s Hope for Democracy party, saying it did not live up to the expectations that had been raised.
Health Minister cited the presentation of his book some time ago as an example, noting that he had attracted four times as many people.
“I want to be very, very honest and not mean-spirited, because I accept democracy and everyone should come down and of course Ms Karystianou should try her hand. The launch she did yesterday certainly did not live up to the expectations that had been cultivated. The Olympion space is a very, very small space,” she told Apocalyptica.
“To understand, I, at the launch of my book on Rome, had considered renting the Olympion, but it was deemed too small for my book. My book had at least four times as many people as the Olympion can hold. Olympion holds 600 people and I went to the Vellide because they didn’t have room for the people,” he said on ANT1.
“This small space was hard to fill for an hour. If it hadn’t been for this fuss and we didn’t know about it, we’d say this party might get zero something hundred. He had no momentum,” he added afterwards.
“The gist of what he said was reheated food that we keep hearing,” the health minister said, commenting on Maria Karustianou’s speech.
