The fate of Nikos Androulakis is linked to the return of Alexis Tsipras and tomorrow’s announcement of the new party in Thiseio.

The “ta-ta-ta-ta” of the fate of the PASOK, the equivalent of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony (the Symphony of Destiny) now sounds as a warning of the start of a fierce battle for second place after the advent of Alexis Tsipras’ “Third Symphony” (aka Heroic).

From tomorrow, Nikos Androulakis should start thinking about how to combine the “crescendo”that he is engaging in with the familiar rhythmic structure of the four notes: three short eighth notes followed by a long half note. For these notes will henceforth constitute his symphony with his destiny.

The famous “ta-ta-ta-taaa” of the Fifth Symphony represents Nikos Androulakis’ struggle with destiny, a struggle that for PASOK translates into an attempt to hold on to second place in order to continue to appear virtually as the main rival of New Democracy but also as the dominant pole of the Centre-Left.

And of course things will get worse if she risks losing even third place to Maria Karustianou, in which case the internal party “trumpets” will start to sound. As… Beethoven would say: “Destiny is impossible to escape.”
