New Democracy is planning a nationwide mobilization of cadres and ministers, with a focus on Northern Greece, following the election of Konstantinos Kyranakis as secretary.

According to what Nikos Hypofantis revealed on Action 24‘s “The Next Day” show, a broad planning of New Democracy is underway to intensify the presence of its executives in society and the region.
He said that Konstantinos Kyranakis has a central role in the planning, ThanasisNezis and SteliosKontadakis, with the aim of organizing an extensive political foray across the country. The aim is not only to conduct tours themselves, but to mobilize high-ranking officials, ministers and party officials of the party.
Particular attention is being paid to Northern Greece and especially CentralMacedonia, where government officials are expected to do a significant amount of political fighting in the coming period.
At the same time, the plan calls for district deputies to be more regularly out of their offices and increase their contact with citizens. A similar mobilisation is expected for MEPs from urban centres, with more frequent visits and meetings with the community.
According to Nikos Hypofantis, the main objective of this initiative is to restore the relationship of trust between the NWD MPs and local communities, especially in the periphery, through direct presence and constant contact with citizens.
