Second round of evaluation begins today, where citizens evaluate public services via a special online platform, contributing to the improvement and accountability of the state.

How citizens participate in the evaluation

The second cycle of the evaluation survey of Public Administration services began today, Friday, June 12, 2026, enabling citizens to rate online the services provided by the Central Government and Local Government via the platform axiologisi.ypes.gov.gr.

Adult Greek citizens and permanent residents of the country who are registered in the National Communication Registry (EMEP). Access to the platform is available either directly or via gov.gr, under the section “Citizen and Daily Life” and the subsection “Citizens and the Public Sector.”

At the same time, those who have the Gov.gr Wallet and have opted for electronic communication with Public Administration bodies via the EMEP will receive a relevant notification on their mobile phone.

Rating from 1 to 10

Citizens log in to the platform using their personal TaxisNet codes, ensuring the uniqueness of each participation. They then complete a structured online questionnaire, a process that takes about seven minutes on average.

The evaluation is conducted on a scale from 1 (“not at all satisfied”) to 10 (“completely satisfied”) and covers a wide range of public services that affect citizens’ daily lives, quality of life, and professional activities.

It should be noted that in the first round of the survey, conducted from May 6 to May 31, 2025, nearly 65,000 citizens participated voluntarily, in a process that marked a milestone for Public Administration, as it was the first such extensive nationwide evaluation of public services by the citizens themselves.

Livanios and Papastergiou – Aiming for improvement

The aim of the survey is to collect valuable primary data regarding citizens’ experience and perception of the services provided by the Central Administration and Local Government. The questionnaire, which is prepared by the Ministry of the Interior, is regularly updated to meet the current needs of society and the Public Administration.

The Minister of the Interior Theodoros Livanios described the evaluation of public services by citizens as a “valuable tool” for improving the functioning of the state, emphasizing that it contributes to transparency, accountability, and the design of targeted interventions to upgrade services for citizens.

For his part, the Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou emphasized that the high turnout in the first round demonstrated that citizens want a government that listens, improves, and is accountable. As he noted, every response and suggestion helps identify weaknesses and create a more modern, effective and citizen-friendly state.
