Starting today, eligibility certificates are being issued for the program “Home Renovation” program, with a subsidy of up to 95%, grant of up to 36,000 euros, and starting September 1.

The process for issuing the process for issuing certificates of eligibility for the new program “Home Renovation”, with a total budget of 500 million euros, which concerns the renovation and the mild energy upgrades of older homes.
Interested parties can already use their Taxisnet, check whether they meet the eligibility criteria in order to prepare for the submission of applications, which will begin on September 1.
Who is eligible for the aid – Amounts and criteria
The program provides for subsidy of up to 95% of the cost of the work, with a maximum grant amount of 36,000 euros per residence or 300 euros per square meter.
The highest subsidy rate applies to residences in mountainous and island regions, as well as households belonging to vulnerable social groups, such as large families and single-parent families and people with disabilities.
Eligible properties are those with a building permit issued by the end of 1990, with a floor area of up to 120 square meters. For families with three children and larger families, the limit increases to 150 square meters.
At the same time, residences must belong to energy class C, not have been included in a corresponding program after <strong data-start="1686" data-end="January 1, 2020, and not be registered under a short-term lease scheme.
Homes that either remain vacant during the two-year period 2024–2025 or occupied.
The evaluation of applications will take place in stages. Priority will be given to applications involving lower amounts of subsidy, while applications approaching the maximum aid limit of 36,000 euros will be reviewed next.
