A police operation has been underway since the early hours of Monday, June 15, in areas of Northeastern Attica and in Athens.
The operation is being carried out by the Spata-Artemis Special Police Unit, with the assistance of officers from the Special Police Forces, as part of the execution of arrest warrants against members of a criminal organization, who are alleged to have systematically and over a long period of time stolen vehicles.
A case file has been compiled for the case by the competent Spata-Artemida, which also issued the relevant arrest warrants.
So far 13 people have been arrested, while the operation by EL.AS operation remains in full swing, and further announcements regarding the case are expected.
