An extension was granted for the implementation of the measure “mobile pharmacy” promoted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

The new deadline is set for January 1, 2027, as thousands of drivers have not yet had time to adapt to the new specifications of the European standard DIN 13164/2022.

All motor vehicles, except for motorcycles, operating within Greek territory are required to carry a first-aid kit containing medical supplies, suitable for immediate use in the event of an accident or emergency.

The first aid supplies must be within their expiration date, in good condition, and bear the CE marking in accordance with the EU Medical Devices Regulation.
