The comparison between the opposition and the government’s work
Dora Bakoyannis, speaking on the “Today” on SKAI, emphasized that the Greek people “are not fools” and that, when the time comes for elections, they will judge based on their children’s future and the real potential of each policy proposal.
The New Democracy MP emphasized that the government has the advantage of credibility, since—as she noted—it had presented the government program four years ago and managed to implement 92% of its commitments.
At the same time, she noted that there were also announcements that did not move forward, citing as an example the hospital in Kos, which, as he said, has not yet been built but is a goal for the next term.
Criticizing the opposition, Ms. Bakoyannis argued that the government’s political opponents will attempt to convince citizens that they have solutions for every problem, from increasing available resources to addressing , and even the possibility of free public transportation, implying that these are promises without sufficient substantiation.
