A large number of citizens embraced the first major volunteer initiative blood drive and bone marrow donor registration campaign organized by Allwyn Hellas.
Allwyn Hellas sent a powerful message of social contribution, solidarity, and participation through its first major volunteer event, held in Piraeus on Tuesday, June 16, as part of the Allwyn Care initiative.




A large crowd rushed to participate in the voluntary blood drive and the registration of new bone marrow donors, organized by Allwyn in collaboration with the organizations Bloode and Choose Life, with scientific support from the Metaxas Cancer Hospital and the support of the Municipality of Piraeus.




During the event, which took place in the Municipal Theater Square against a quintessentially summery and welcoming backdrop, participants had the opportunity to donate blood and learn about the importance of bone marrow donation, while many also went on to register as new volunteer donors by providing a saliva sample.

Allwyn Care Invests in Health and Prevention
Starting in Piraeus, the “Allwyn Care Life Savers” initiative will soon expand to other regions of the country, with the aim of promoting voluntary blood donation and expanding the bone marrow donor registry.



This initiative is part of Allwyn Care’s broader social contribution strategy, under which the complete renovation of the General Cancer Hospital of Piraeus “Metaxas,” a significant project aimed at upgrading the hospital’s infrastructure and healthcare services for patients.
