The share capital increase of ADMIE—which was completed yesterday—was oversubscribed by a factor of 14 in the portion relating to the raising of funds from the market.

It should be noted that the capital increase amounts to 1 billion euros, of which 510 million were paid by the Government in order to maintain its 51% stake, and 240 million by the Chinese State Grid, a 24% shareholder of the Operator.

For the remaining 250 million euros, bids totaled 3.5 billion euros (2.8 billion from the foreign book and 700 million from the Greek book).

The capital increase supports ADMIE’s investment plan, which includes investments totaling 6 billion euros for the period 2026–2029.

Among these are the second interconnection with Italy and the interconnections of the islands of the northeastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
