A Spanish court has issued a travel ban Spanish court for the wife of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Begonia.
According to the text of the ruling made public today, Ms. Gómez will stand trial for corruption and is prohibited from leaving Spain.
Judge Juan Carlos Peinado ordered Begonia Gómez to surrender her passport and to report to the authorities twice a month until a court ruling is issued in her case.
