The Board of Directors of ESIEA sadly announced the loss of journalist, Pandora Pafili, who passed away today after a battle with cancer at the age of 63.
Pandora Pafili was born in Athens in 1963. From 1992 until today, her professional career was linked to the radio station “Athens 9.84,” where she worked coordinating the main newscast, covering general and political news, writing and anchoring the news, and producing programs.
As stated in the announcement by the Journalists’ Union, “Pandora Pafili was an exceptionally capable journalist, with high professional ethics and a collegial demeanor. She worked with dedication and integrity and was particularly beloved by all her colleagues.
Unfortunately, an unjust twist of fate took her life prematurely, bringing sorrow to all who knew her and worked with her. The Board of Directors bids farewell to our dear colleague and extends its condolences to her family and friends.”
