At the moment of the crash of the helicopter of the Fire Department at the Aos Reservoir, in Metsovo captured video evidence.
Specifically, as shown in the images, while drawing water from the Aoos Reservoir, the rear of the helicopter touched the water’s surface and the helicopter crashed.
This is one of the BELL-type helicopters leased by the Fire Department, which was operating to extinguish a fire nearby.
According to reports, the pilot and co-pilot, the two people who were on board the helicopter suffered minor injuries, with no danger to their health.
MEGA reports that the two passengers swam to shore.

During an aerial firefighting operation at the “Avgo” site in Grevena, a BELL helicopter chartered by the Fire Department, with a crew of two—one Greek national and one foreign national serving as a liaison—crashed into the Aoos Reservoir in Grevena.
The helicopter took off from Ioannina Airport. Both crew members were rescued.
