Authorities have identified the teenager who lost his life in Kallithea during clash that took place late last night.

He was a 15-year-old boy, a resident of the northern suburbs.

He was identified through fingerprints, as the minor victim was known to the authorities.

The 15-year-old, who was killed by a stab wound to the heart, had been spotted three days earlier with a knife and had been arrested last year for possession of a brass knuckle.

It is recalled that shortly before midnight on Wednesday, a group of 14 people, aged 17–18, got into a fight on Megaloupoleos Street in Kallithea, during which the 15-year-old was stabbed in the chest.

The victim was transported by an EKAB ambulance to Ippokratio Hospital, where, despite the doctors’ efforts, he died a short time later.

Police forces rushed to the scene immediately and took 13 people into custody.

DAOE police officers are investigating the causes of the brawl; while it was initially believed that there were fan-related motives, this theory was later disproved, as all those involved, except for one, are fans of the same team.
