A fire that occurred in the early hours of the morning (18/4) in an apartment in Colonos, with two people found unconscious.

The fire in question broke out around 05:20 in a third-floor apartment at the junction of Argus and Platonos streets. During the operation, firefighters initially located an unconscious female. A short time later, a man was also recovered in the same condition.

From the same incident, two other women who were on an upper floor developed respiratory problems and were taken to a hospital. The other occupants were evacuated from that building in a timely manner.

18 firefighters with 7 vehicles, as well as a special 7 vehicles, and a special trailer operated at the scene. The fire was brought under control after coordinated efforts.

According to reports, the fire may have been started by a gas leak and spread to an adjacent apartment. Authorities, however, are investigating the cause as these are preliminary assessments.
