Criticism against Pavlos Polakis was launched by Adonis Georgiadis, commenting on the silence of the SYRIZA following the second acquittal ruling for Stamatis Pouli and his wife, Androniki Theofilatos, in the case of hiring at KEELPNO.

In a post on Friday morning, the Minister of Health claims that Pavlos Polakis has not said “a single word, not a peep” following the final judicial acquittal of the two defendants, to whom, as he notes, the SYRIZA MP had blamed for the controversial hires.

“Not a word! Ahem! ‘Murmur,’ as he himself says,” writes Adonis Georgiadis characteristically, accusing Pavlos Polakis and the Left of hypocrisy. “This is the true ethos of the Left. Their so-called sensitivity to human rights boils down to whether it suits us and whether the person is one of us or our opponent. Hypocrites!” he states, concluding his post with the phrase: “Pavlos, we don’t wear pants just to keep from getting cold, you know…”

Adonis Georgiadis’s full post about Pavlos Polakis

I’m trying to see if the very talkative @pavpol2222 made even the slightest comment on the final and irrevocable vindication of @stamatispoulis regarding the endless slanders that Polakis had hurled at him over KeelPNO, following his unanimous acquittal yesterday in the last remaining trial. Not a single word! Pfft! “Murmur,” as he himself says. I’m trying to see if any Leftist champion of “humanity and rights” has offered even the slightest apology. And yet a young couple, Stamatis and Androniki—one of whom was, in fact, the president of the Employees’ Association at the time—were fired from their jobs based on these slanders. They were vilified; prosecutors raided their home; they saw their names on the front page; and for years they heard themselves being accused in Parliament. Based on these allegations, they set up an entire parliamentary inquiry into the health sector targeting me; they tried to prosecute me as well; they smeared my closest associates; they blackmailed them… and in the end? They were all irrevocably found NOT GUILTY—and then?…. “Murmur”….that is the true ethos of the Left. Their so-called sensitivity to human rights boils down to whether it suits us and whether the person is one of us or our opponent. Hypocrites! “Murmur”….
