In response to rumors that she is moving to PASOK was provided by Theodora Tzakri, noting that there are currently no such discussions taking place.

She stated, however, that she was certain there would be discussions between herself and the Democrats with PASOK, either before or after the elections.

“The Democrats and I will join the discussion when it becomes serious—that is, when we talk about policy and party convergence”, she said in statements to SKAI, adding: “My hope would be for political parties to converge. Our ideological positions are adjacent.”

According to Theodora Tzakri, two strategies are currently at odds: on the one hand, as she said, the strategy of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which seeks support in the name of stability; and, on the other hand, the need for “cleansing,” which—as she assessed—the opposition forces must champion. When asked who could take on this role, she replied that “Androulakis, Kasselakis, definitely. And Tsipras and anyone else who wants to,” noting that cooperation is needed, not just numerical balances.

Regarding Alexis Tsipras, he argued that Tsipras is attempting to change his strategy toward Kyriakos Mitsotakis and attributes his repeated electoral defeats to a system of vested interests that, as he said, supports the government.

Specifically, he noted the following: “Let me tell you what Mr. Tsipras says: ‘For eight years, I’ve been losing to Mitsotakis. Not because he’s smart, handsome, or a better politician. I’ve been losing because there’s a blatant system of vested interests—in the media and beyond—that supported him.’ Mr. Tsipras says that this will now change; he will align himself with those interests, and this time he will defeat Mitsotakis. “Because he’ll side with those interests, and those interests will come with him,” he concluded.
