Aris Portosalte, from the column “Ares Mares” on SKAI’s Live You show, sharply criticized the stance of Alexis Tsipras toward the leaders of SYRIZA officials who insist on waiting for him to accept them into his new party.
“He keeps telling them he doesn’t want them”
Aris Portosalte, commenting on developments surrounding Alexis Tsipras in the “Aris Mares” segment of the Live You on SKAI, argued that the former prime minister is constantly pushing away those who seek to align themselves politically with him.
“Now he’s giving them the cold shoulder. What else can he do to show them he doesn’t want them? He sent them to the balcony, put them doors, and every moment he tells them, ‘I don’t want you; don’t run after me’. What else can the man do? Soon we’ll reach the point where we’ll feel sorry for him,” the journalist remarked characteristically, describing—in what he considered a sarcastic manner—the former prime minister’s relationship with individuals who continue to hope for their participation in Greek Left Alliance.
Voularinos: “Let’s see if Comrade Spyropoulos has anything optimistic to say: ‘Here we are again—you were telling me that Konstantopoulou had overtaken you; you’re in third place again.’ Before, Konstantopoulou was in second place; then Alexis came in second. PASOK remains consistently in third or fourth place. Not even that… pic.twitter.com/NyJ4vZ2PfF
