Maria Karystianou lacks a clear political framework, argued Sakis Moumtzis, noting that she may seek cooperation.

Sakis Moumtzis, speaking on the show “EDO* on ONE, with Stamatis Zacharos, commented on the political presence of Maria Karystianou, arguing that it lacks specific political substance and expressing the view that, since her party does not participate in the elections, she may seek some collaboration to capitalize on her influence.

Moumtzis’s assessment of Maria Karystianou’s participation in the elections

Sakis Moumtzis stated that he considers what is happening to be “very logical,” since—as he put it—this is a political group that “has no political stance.” In fact, he likened the political context of Maria Karystianou to the phrase “better to be rich and healthy than poor and sick,” adding that expressing wishes such as “may we live in a world without wars and with global peace” does not constitute a political stance.

For his part, Stamatis Zacharos humorously remarked that he himself would prefer a world without wars and with world peace, adding that “it’s not exactly beauty pageant material,” before asking his interlocutor whether he thought Maria Karystianou would run in the upcoming elections.

In response, Sakis Moumtzis expressed doubts about her future political presence, saying characteristically: “Will she still be around in October?” Finally, he assessed that if she does not participate in the elections, she will attempt to leverage the remaining influence she has through some form of collaboration.
