In Nea Smyrni on Friday (6/26) the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, continuing his visits to neighborhoods across the country.
During his tour, he spoke with residents and business owners, and also visited the Milon Camp, where sports and creative activities for children are held daily.

He also posted moments from the visit on social media, accompanying the video with the message: “In Nea Smyrni, to visit our young friends at Milon Camp, to talk with shop owners and other citizens, and also for a really intense game of backgammon!” Kyriakos Mitsotakis: Messages on sports The first stop on the visit was Milon Camp, the summer program of the historic “Milon” Athletic Club. The prime minister toured the facilities, watched the sports activities, and talked with the children about the sports they love, as well as the teams they support in the FIFA World Cup.
In the video, he is seen playing tennis and soccer, while encouraging children to spend more time playing sports and engaging in activities with their friends, and to limit their use of cell phones.
Discussions with citizens and… a game of backgammon
Next, Kyriakos Mitsotakis walked through the market in Nea Smyrni market, where he spoke with shop owners and residents about everyday issues.
The tour concluded at a café where the Tavli Friends Cultural Club holds its events. There, the prime minister spoke with the club’s members and sat down at the table for a game of backgammon, wrapping up his visit on a more relaxed note.
