Starting tomorrow, Sunday (June 28) new traffic regulations will take effect on Line 3 of the Metro, due to rail replacement work being carried out by STASY.

As part of the project, the stations “Megaro Mousikis”, “Ampelokipoi”, “Panormou”, and “Katechaki” will close at 9:40 p.m., from Sunday through Thursday, approximately two and a half hours earlier than usual.

How Metro trains will operate

During the construction work, the schedules for Line 3 will operate on the following sections:

  • Municipal Theater – Evangelismos
  • National Defense – Doukissis Plakentias – Airport

  • From Municipal Theater: 9:05 p.m.
  • From Syntagma: 9:30 PM
  • From Evangelismos: 9:32 PM
  • From Megaro Mousikis: 9:33 PM

What’s changing for routes to the Airport and the new X21 line

The last trains before construction begins will depart:

  • From Syntagma to Airport at 9:30 p.m.
  • From Municipal Theater to Airport at 9:05 PM
  • From Airport to Municipal Theater at 9:10 PM

After 9:40 p.m., services to the Airport will depart from the National Defense station, while trains departing from the Airport will also terminate at the same station.
