In recent days, more and more reports have been circulating that Evangelos Apostolakis and PASOK are about to shake hands.

It seems that Evangelos Apostolakis‘s support for Stefanos Kasselakis was short-lived. Then the State deputy, who left Syriza, put “loose ends” on the line to get back together with Alexis Tsipras for a seat in his new party.

However, the former prime minister appears adamant and sent messages to his former government minister that he has no place in his new party. Relations between the two men, after all, have been frozen since Stefanos Kasselakis‘s time at Syriza.

Joining PASOK

After seeing and hearing from Syriza, Kasselakis and Tsipras, PASOK of Nikos Androulakis was left. The latter has even begun to indiscriminately recruit members from Syriza, in the hope that he will increase his numbers.

Somewhat like this, reports say that Evangelos Apostolakis will run as a candidate with PASOK in Chania, an area where the party is in trouble and has no strong candidates. When the announcement will be made is unknown, but for many, Apostolakis’ candidacy with PASOK is taken for granted.

True or false, PASOK has already started to put together the ballots, so we’ll know soon. The main question, of course, is whether they really believe there at Charilaou Trikoupis that this talk of former Syriza executives joining Syriza who are just looking for a party to get elected is good for them.
