Avant Mar and Grivalia Hospitality are joining forces with HELMEPA and SAIL-E to organize an environmental action in Paros on 21-23 April 2026.

The initiative is under the auspices of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and the Municipality of Paros.

As part of HELMEPA’s program, students of Paros schools will be invited to actively participate in organized clean-ups at the beaches of Zoodochos Pigi, Logaras and Piperi, contributing to the protection of the marine ecosystem. At the same time, an interactive presentation on ocean literacy will be held for primary school students, aiming at cultivating environmental awareness and creating a connection of young people with the sea from an early age, while for high school students, a professional orientation briefing will follow, with emphasis on career prospects and the skills that emerge in the context of the Blue Economy.

The initiatives will conclude with the collective action of an open experiential clean-up of Piperi beach, under the guidance of HELMEPA, with the participation of students, executives of Avant Mar and Grivalia Hospitality and SAIL-E, highlighting the importance of cooperation for the protection of the natural environment.

This series of actions is part of a broader strategic planning of both Avant Mar and Grivalia Hospitality, which aims to create a positive environmental and social footprint by investing in knowledge, cooperation and sustainable development of local communities.
