The visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Athens will highlight the historical ties between France and Greece, the common bond between the two countries on European values and their tightness cooperation in all areas, in particular in defence, the economy and civilisation.
This was stated in an official announcement by Elise today from Paris, regarding the French president’s visit to Greece on April 24 and 25.
The same statement noted that this visit will contribute to strengthening and broadening the strategic cooperation between the two countries.
At the same time, it was underlined that Greece and France maintain a strategic partnership of cooperation in the fields of defence and security, which was signed in September 2021.
