The Piraeus, is moving forward with targeted interventions to strengthen the National Health System and the work of its operators.
In an environment of increasing needs and challenges, the Bank chooses to make an active contribution, with initiatives that enhance the efficiency of services and direct patient care.
In this context, the following actions are being directly implemented:
- The donation of a Da Vinci XI model IS4000 robotic surgical system to the General Laiko Hospital of Athens. The system is expected to significantly upgrade the capabilities of performing advanced surgical procedures, enhancing the quality and accuracy of medical care.
- The donation of equipment for integrated systems for the lethargy and immobilization of multi-injured patients, for all ambulances nationwide of the National Emergency Aid Centre (EKAB). This equipment enhances the operational readiness of ambulance crews and contributes substantially to the pre-hospital treatment of severe injuries.
For Piraeus, supporting public health is not just an act of social responsibility. It is an investment in the resilience of society, in equal access to care services and, ultimately, in the sustainable development of the country.
With interventions that respond to real needs, Piraeus seeks to make a substantial contribution to strengthening a health system that is on the front line every day.
