Two trains collided today in Denmark, leaving people injured, local emergency services told Reuters.

According to Ekstra Bladet, citing authorities, four people are in critical condition, while a total of 17 injured were identified.

The accident occurred near Hilerrod, north of Copenhagen.

“Two trains running local services collided head-on.There are injuries among the passengers. All passengers have disembarked, so no one is trapped,” a spokesman for the Greater Copenhagen fire service said.

Numerous forces have been dispatched to the scene.
