Giannis Vardakastanis was elected secretary of the PASOK-Chime of Change with 279 votes of the members of the Central Political Committee.
According to the results announced late Sunday night, 30 members voted blank while 8 ballots were invalid.
In the Political Council caucus, there was 1 blank ballot, with the party’s representative, Kostas Tsoukalas with 261 and in second place Milena Apostolaki with 251 and Manolis Christodoulakis third with 230. Pavlos Geroulanos was elected fourth with Anna Diamantopoulou elected seventh after Andreas Spyropoulos and Michalis Katrinis.
