His certainty that there will not be a single conviction on the OPEKEPE case was once again expressed by Adonis Georgiadis.
Talking to ANT1, the Health Minister said he is convinced that all these cases will eventually have an acquittal for the political figures involved. He added that in some cases there will be arrest and in some an acquittal.
Asked to respond to what has happened with European Public Prosecutor Laura Covesi, Mr. Georgiades first stressed that he was not targeting the Justice and reiterated the need to renew the mandate of the European Public Prosecutor in the country.
“Due to the political conflict, it is necessary to renew” the European Public Prosecutors in Greece, Georgiades said, adding that “the political conflict was caused by the sending of funny documents (ed: for the OPEKEPE) to the Parliament.”
