Meeting with a focus on strengthening bilateral relations in the field of defence.
Further strengthening cooperation Greece-Australia in defence were discussed at a meeting in Ministry of National Defence.
The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias received the Ambassador of Australia Alison Duncan, with the main focus on deepening bilateral relations in the defence sector.
During the meeting, prospects for enhancing cooperation were examined in an international environment of increased security challenges.
Dendias said in a post on social network X:
“I had a meeting today at the Ministry of National Defence with the Australian Ambassador, Ms Alison Duncan, who presented me with a commemorative coin on the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Crete. We discussed, among other things, issues relating to the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Greece and Australia in the defence sector, with an emphasis on innovation.”
