The journalist Vasiliki Polyzou has filed her third consecutive criminal complaint against Zoe Konstantopoulou for slander against her.
The journalist, who claims to have worked for Pleisi Eleftherias, had filed a formal complaint, claiming payment of invoices of about 16,000 euros.
Yesterday officials of the Labour Inspectorate, who were to investigate the labour dispute, ended up at the Omonia Police Station, following a complaint lodged against them by the president of Eleftherias Pλεύisi Eleftherias, claiming that they attempted to blackmail her.
The announcement
In a statement, Vasiliki Polyzou’s lawyer, Faelos M. Kranidiotis, stresses:
“This morning, together with my client, the journalist Ms. Vasiliki Polyzou, we filed before the Athens Prosecutor’s Office the third in a series of complaints against Ms. Zoe Konstantopoulou, MP and president of the Eleftherias Pλεύσης Eleftherias, for the act of slander committed against my client, with a recent statement of the accused on television stations, which we distributed in writing to the media, on the issue of the complaint of a worker of the party in question to the Labour Inspectorate, directing highly offensive characterizations against my client“.
