In Tirana, Kimberly Guilfoyle met with Endy Rama and attended the signing ceremony for a 20-year contract to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US.
“I was honored to travel to Tirana to promote President Donald Trump’s energy agenda and to meet with Eddie Rama, Prime Minister of Albania to participate in the signing ceremony of a historic agreement between Albania, Venture Global and Aktor LNG USA for a 20-year contract to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US,” she said in a post on X.
“This commitment of 6 billion euros ($6 billion) is the first of its kind. dollar commitment strengthens energy security – and national security – across the region.”
“We are proud to build on the outstanding work of Secretary of the Interior Dug Bergham, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and the National Council for Energy Excellence,” she said, concluding: “When the United States, Albania and Greece work together, this region is more connected, more secure and more prosperous.”
