The American president has claimed that Tehran has urgently requested the restoration of navigation in the Sea Strait of Hormuz due to internal destabilization.
Developments on the Middle East front are foreshadowed by the latest statements by Donald Trump, who claimed that the leadership of Iran is at a breaking point.
Through a post on the Truth Social platform, the US president disclosed that he received an update from Tehran that the country is experiencing conditions of internal collapse.
According to the US leader, Iran is now pushing for an immediate end to the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz in order to manage the crisis that has erupted within its ranks.
The message released by the President reads as follows:
“Iran has just informed us that it is in a ‘State of Collapse’. They want us to “open the Strait of Hormuz” as soon as possible as they try to clear the air with their leadership (which I believe they will do!). Thank you for your attention to this issue! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
