Christos Rammos, whom the opposition once tore their clothes off about being politically independent, attended a party event for Syriza.
But to be honest, the Nikos Poulantzas Institute event is a party gathering, since the Institute is actually owned by Syriza. In fact, members of the Institute of Alexis Tsipras participated in the same event as speakers.
Specifically, Christos Rammos attended the Poulantzas Institute event as a speaker, along with Giannis Drosos, who is a member of the Alexis Tsipras Institute and is said to play an important role in the creation of the new party by the former prime minister. Other speakers included Professor Ifigenia Kamtsidou, who is a companion of former minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos and was president of the National Centre for Public Administration during the Syriza period, as well as Professor Jiorgos Sotirelis.
The theme of the event was the Rule of Law, Democracy and Rights and was moderated by Mega journalist, Dora Anagnostopoulou.
Let’s not forget that Christos Ramos, the former head of ADAE, previously appeared on Facebook as a member of an online group of New Left. Besides, Alexis Haritsis had also nominated him for President.
Before all this, of course, almost all of the Left was trying to convince us that the former head of the ADDE was doing his job away from party politics and had nothing to do with them.
At the same time, he has denied rumours that he is to head the state election ticket of Alexis Tsipras’s new party. In any case, the participation in events of the Syriza and Alexis Tsipras institutes send different messages.
