The phenomenon is not new. The political transcription season seems to be well and truly open, and PASOK seems to be hitting everything that passes and everything that moves under the suspense of possibly Tsipras moves.

And Andreas Papandreou’s PASOK also had an enlargement strategy to show, but with a Boutos and a Vafiades, persons with special political weight, with a historical track record and memories… Back when the squares were filled with hundreds of thousands of people and the green sun waving on the flags. Other times…

The PASOK of Androulakis, as the… grumpy discussions in and around Charilaou Trikoupis illustrate, does not make transfers on the terms of a champion and is probably playing its part in order not to be relegated to the Second National League. The first signings in the “expansion” of PASOK have been announced. However, they don’t seem to have caused a tsunami of optimism… Unfairly perhaps because some executives can claim a place in the Guinness World Records book for transfers of the decade!

With a suitcase in hand

Traveling and wandering salesmen spend endless hours and days at the airport with a suitcase in hand, ready to… board the next civilian flight at any time to any destination. Theodora Tzakri is reportedly ready to switch parties for the fourth time (from PASOK to Tsipras’ SYRIZA, then to Kasselakis and now perhaps back to her roots) and Nikos Androulakis is not adverse to her return.

Also on the same path is former SYRIZA MP Giannis Karagiannis, a former member of SYRIZA with a stint in Nikos Kotzias’ Prato. PASOK and the idea of returning are being flirted with by Kasimatis, Tzakri, Moraitis, Apostolakis and perhaps other members of the old powerful Koumoundourou, such as former minister Stavros Kontonis.

The doors of Charilaou Trikoupis for the return of Nina Kasimatis (elected in Piraeus) will open if the current SYRIZA MP decides to leave the Koumoundourou party, with former minister and current PASOK Politburo member Filippos Sachinidis, however, reminding the… (Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe Filipe.

Rania Thraskia and Petros Pappas are dragging the dance for the party, even though the… engagement of PASOK with music composer and rebetiko singer Vangelis Korakakis, who declared that he is from Kaisariani and is a KKE, turned out to be a fiasco.

All of them, official and unofficial transcripts, did what they could for a … PASOK, which from an accident in Koumoundourou found itself in the opposition. They are holding on tightly to the parliamentary seats won under the banner of another party and they are not giving them up. This, after all, is their baggage for the transcription journey. This was Nicolas Faradouris’s carry-on baggage. In a pointed reference, PASOK MP Nadia Giannakopoulou expressed her opposition to the inclusion of former SYRIZA MEP Nikolas Farantouris in Charilaou Trikoupis. She noted that the intended expansion of the party cannot be based on persons who have insulted the party in the past and categorized the MEP implicitly but clearly as a “peddler”.

Nicolas Faradouris, however, may be the prelude to the PASOK transfer delirium, with supposedly new and indestructible faces taking centre stage. No matter how hard you look, however, you will only find MPs and executives who have made the… in other political arenas. Faradouris, after all, has never hidden it. He was anxiously searching for his own political chimera. Fanatic of Tsipras, applauder of Kasselakis, he rejected him early on and ran for the presidency of SYRIZA. He was ready to transfer to the Karistianos party and eventually… sat down to rest in the hospitable Charilaou Trikoupis. And there too, many and many appreciated and honored him. Mostly all the president’s people… Now let the rest of them (timeless Pasokoi, as they define themselves)… stew in their own juices and be left with their whining to say that all these former Syrizaites are coming back as if nothing is wrong, not even with an apology for what they dragged them through.

Do it like Tsipras…

With the maintenance of… transcription fever, with Polakisms and Constantopoulou-type insults, forming an uncritically populist and toxic political discourse, Nikos Androulakis believes that he will… shield the party both in possible leaks to the new Tsipras party and against the aggressive tactics of his internal party opponents. It adopts the … mafia state and criminal gang from the political vocabulary of Tsipras and the former prime minister’s political supporters in SYRIZA, NEAR or wherever, and thinks that in this way it will escape the narrow branding it receives from the left of PASOK.

Nikos Androulakis probably wants to do it like Tsipras did! And we will soon see him on our screens… honking that his own transfer or pending transfer list is longer than Alexis’… promised checks, since he does not make it a condition that they resign their parliamentary seat. And he will survive unfortunate retirements like those of Harry Kastanidis and Antonis Saoulidis, PASOK’s top cross-listed candidates for MPs in Thessaloniki in the 2023 elections, because he will be more insulting to Mitsotakis!
