The Ukrainian President said that the two sides discussed the issue of Ukraine’s EU accession path at length, noting that “we count on the opening of all six negotiating modules within this month and next month.” Indeed, he stressed that, from a technical point of view, Ukraine is now fully ready for this next step. At the same time, Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Antonio Costa for his support and personal efforts in releasing the 90 billion euro financial package.
He added that it is important that these funds be disbursed as soon as possible in order to shield the country against the needs of the upcoming winter.
