A special raid was carried out by police officers of the Traffic Attica Directorate from Thursday morning (30/04) to this morning (04/05), arresting a total of 22 drivers.
Officers conducted 27,606 checksalcohol checks, verifying 179 violations, while three of the drivers arrested were under the influence of alcohol with a reading of more than 0.60 mgr/l.
Also, they witnessed 3.212 offences, for exceeding the maximum permitted speed limit, failure to use a helmet, use of mobile phone, violation of flags, disqualification from driving, and 523 vehicles were stopped.
According to the police, 728 driving licenses and 185 traffic licenses were revoked during the period of the checks.
However, the positive results of the checks amounted to just 0.65% of the total, according to the same information.
