Some argue that certain centres of power have been premiumising the return of Alexis Tsipras as an “alternative”.
In this context, a “mutant” Tsipras could be useful to them. The fact that his manifesto is being promoted by media that previously fought him hard gives fodder to those who talk about political trading and “resaltos” with the blessing of the system.
Many believe that if it is perceived that his return is a “product” of a deal with the same business centers he once denounced, then his effort will be self-defeating.
However, people have short memories as well as survival instincts.Whether they will perceive the project as realistic or as political fraud, will be seen by whether the new party convinces with faces and programme – beyond the welcoming TV windows – and whether the government decides to send it into the dustbin of history.
Towards the polls, the dilemma will be posed: Will the electorate choose a “known danger”over a “unknown danger”, such as Nikos Androulakis;
Whether in one or the other case, the dilemma will not be who is more populist and demagogic, but who authentically expresses destabilization.
