At the conclusion of the meeting of the Committee of the ND, the Prime Minister answered questions journalists.

Exiting the hall shortly after 17:00, Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a brief and rather sharp dialogue with the press.

Asked about the climate that prevailed behind closed doors, the prime minister described it as “useful”.

When reporters persisted, asking if there was the expected “grumbling”, Mitsotakis replied, “What do you mean by grumbling? You are looking for grumbling! Somehow you have to say it now, you had announced that there would be a “Coogie”.”

Special reference was made to the efederal state, which has been the target of criticism lately.

Asked whether the structure was ultimately “loved” by New Democracy MPs, the prime minister said “the executive state has had its day.”
