The interventions
Relate to interventions in the municipality of Tripoli and the municipality of Megalopolis. The total public expenditure is €774,000. By decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis, funds are secured for the preparation of preliminary studies for four important projects in Tripoli and Megalopolis. More specifically, these concern a) the construction of the building infrastructure for the Centre for Creative Employment of Children on the Autism Spectrum, in Megalopolis, b) the creation of the Agrologistics Center, at the hub of the bioeconomy 360°, in Megalopolis, c) the creation of a complex educational and agro-technological complex (agricultural school), in Megalopolis and d) the construction of the central administration building of the Peloponnese Region in Tripoli.
More specifically:
– Construction of the building infrastructure of the Centre for the Creative Employment of Children on the Autism Spectrum (KDAP-AMEA) in Megalopolis, with a total built-up area of approximately 4,000 m², on an area of approximately 30 acres. The physical scope of the operation includes the preparation of all the required technical studies (architectural, structural, electromechanical, topographical and geotechnical), as well as the pre-measurement of quantities and cost estimation, with the aim of forming a complete technical maturity file of the project. The proposed building infrastructure will accommodate specialised day care, creative activities and short-term accommodation for children on the autism spectrum, with a capacity of up to 70 beneficiaries (40 on a daily basis and up to 30 on a residential basis). All the specifications for activity rooms, therapy rooms, offices for scientific staff, rest areas and supporting facilities (electromechanical systems, fire protection, automation, accessibility, etc.) will be defined, with emphasis on safety, energy efficiency and full compliance with the institutional framework for the operation of day-care centres for children with special needs. The total public expenditure amounts to 250.000 euro.
– Creation of Agrologistics Center in the Bioeconomy 360° hub in Megalopolis. Within the framework of the project, an integrated design of the infrastructure for storage, management, standardization and handling of agricultural products, as well as the accompanying support and technological facilities will be carried out. The pre-study covers: the location and functional layout of the centre, the design of buildings and storage facilities, logistics infrastructure (handling, sorting, refrigeration, standardisation), electromechanical and energy installations and the integration of digital and innovative supply chain management solutions. The total public expenditure amounts to EUR 200.000.
– Creation of an Advanced Educational and Agrotechnological Complex – Megalopolis Agricultural School. The preliminary study includes the preparation of all the required technical studies (architectural, structural, electromechanical, topographical and geotechnical where required), as well as the formulation of an integrated proposal for the functional organization and technical solution for the whole complex. The project concerns the siting and design of buildings with a total surface area of approximately 2 000 m2 , which will include training areas, laboratories, administrative and support functions, as well as associated storage and agricultural areas. At the same time, the plan includes the development of model agricultural facilities (such as greenhouses) and the use of extensive agricultural land of about 600 hectares for educational and research purposes. The total public expenditure amounts to 200,000 euros.
– Construction of the Central Administrative Building of the Peloponnese Region in Tripoli. The aim is to concentrate and house the administrative services in a single, modern building complex. The preliminary study includes the architectural, functional and technical design of the building, taking into account the needs of the services, the optimal location, the energy efficiency requirements and the modern specifications of public administrative buildings. The total public expenditure amounts to €124,000.
