In an environment where the needs of the public health system remain pressing, from blood supplies and marrow donation to early diagnosis, Allwyn Hellas is investing in new nationwide prevention and volunteering activities that can make a difference.

Specifically, Allwyn is implementing new preventive cancer examinations, voluntary blood donation and recruitment of new volunteer bone marrow donors, as part of Allwyn Care, Allwyn’s new integrated and long-term health initiative.

A part of this is the important project of the complete renovation of the General Cancer Piraeus Metaxas Hospital, which was announced recently.

Prevention, early diagnosis and volunteer activities are carried out in collaboration with the Hellenic Cancer Society and the leading organisations Bloode and Choose Life.

In fact, the three organisations have agreed to close cooperation in the field of public information and awareness raising, as confirmed during the special Allwyn Hellas event to announce the new actions.
