Seven people were taken by the ambulance to the hospital Papageorgiou in Thessaloniki after a group of unidentified people attacked members of a student group at the Faculty of Engineering of the AUTH.
Several people were injured in the scuffle, with seven of those taken to hospital suffering – in some cases –fractures, bruises and abrasions.
Police have so far provided eight people.
According to thess.gr, a group of anti-authoritarians stormed the Faculty of Engineering with clubs and smoke grenades and attacked members of the student faction of EAK.
