The latest on the health of the Greek passenger on the cruise ship with the hantavirus outbreak has been released by the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis speaking on ERTnews’ Newsroom show.

Specifically, he assured that the 70-year-old man is not suffering from chantavirus, while disclosing that he is well in his health. At the same time, he noted that the concern about the virus should be zero and has nothing to do with the coronavirus.

Then he dwelt on the negative publicity that Greece could get with a case of hantavirus, explaining that “we want to zero this possibility, because the national economy depends on tourism.”

About the situation of Giorgos Mylonakis, who is being transferred to a rehabilitation centre in Germany, he noted that he is showing a dramatic improvement.
