Today is the day of a process that always gets publicity disproportionate to its importance. Not only because no one ever learns the actual results of student elections, but also because very few students participate in them.

Less than 10% bother to take part in this fair in which on the one hand we have partisans looking after their future careers and on the other holigans who have fallen victim to a difficult adolescence.

You see, despite what members of the “student movement” would have you believe, most students have gone to university to study, not to vent or get a job in a political party.

But, as is often the case in Greece, the majority are subjected to the unchecked action of minorities for whom studying is not their main priority. With the real problem being in the word “undisturbed.”

I don’t know what has transpired between EAC and anti-authoritarians. The endochooling controversies are of no interest to me. But I do know that whatever has happened is not the real cause of yesterday’s beating at the APT. It is solely due to the state’s insistence on tolerance of the actions of criminal groups.
