The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky warns of possible waves of Russian attacks with drones during the course of today.

As he said, more than 100 drones are in Ukrainian airspace as Moscow has changed its tactics by increasing attacks by the day.

“Russia continues to attack and even shamelessly and deliberately targeting our railway infrastructure and civilian targets in our cities,” Volodymyr Zelensky said in a post on X.

Since the start of the war more than four years ago, the Russia has favored nighttime hours for major drone and missile strikes. In recent weeks, however, it has repeatedly attacked with hundreds of drones and missiles during the daytime, which disrupt civilian life to a much greater extent.

“It is important to repel any attack with vigor. It is important to support Ukraine and not to maintain silence about Russia’s war,” the Ukrainian president wrote.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defence announced that Russia had attacked Ukraine with 139 as of 06.00. 111 were shot down.

Moscow denies deliberately attacking civilians and has killed thousands of Ukrainian civilians during the war. It claims that attacks on the country’s infrastructure are legal if they harm Ukraine’s combat capabilities.

Recently Kiev has escalated long-range attacks on Russian energy facilities, but on a smaller scale.
