One of the largest recruitment of doctors in recent years, currently underway, was referred to by the Minister of State for Health, Marios Themistokleoys.

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, doctors will be in their positions in hospitals in 4 to 6 months and in positions that are “very emergent” they may even be in 3 months.

At the same time, Mr. Themistocleous referring to the announcement of the prime minister for recruitment of nurses said that there will be announcements in the next period of time and that incentives will be given as the profession of nurses is a key pillar of the health system.

40 new total mental health units

In addition , Mr. Themistocleous also mentioned the creation of 40 new mental health units across the country, 21 of which are for autism and 19 for dementia.
