In the Castropolis of Mystras Laconia, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis
As announced tthe Ministry of Culture, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will attend the ceremony of the projects for the protection and promotion of the Mystras Castle and the Museum Exhibitions, at the Palace of the Despots, on Thursday 21 May 2026, at 6pm.
The inauguration will be performed by the Prime Minister, as stated in the relative invitation of the Ministry of Culture. Ait is worth noting that, during these days, in the area, the events “Paleologueia” will also take place.
It should be stressed that, through ESPA, in the area of the municipality of Sparta, over the years, various cultural projects have been carried out. There are the Palaces of Mystras, there are various temples in the archaeological site of Mystras, etc.
In the Palace of the Despots,at the archaeological site of Mystras, the work of highlighting and exhibition tour took place, while, for the Temples, works are being done to preserve painted decoration and stone elements.
