A agriculturalist from Veros who went ahead and donated a ambulance to the General Hospital of the capital of Imathia.
The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, contacted her by phone to thank her and express his emotion for the move.
In a video uploaded in a related post by the Health Minister,it shows the moment when the woman’s lawyer delivers the ambulance in the presence of the minister, as she did not wish to appear.
Taking the phone in his hands, Georgiades thanked the woman. “I am very touched by what you have done, you are helping the hospital very much, you are helping the National Health System,” the health minister said.
The Health Minister’s message on his X account:
“One of the most touching moments of the day today was when I received the ambulance donated to us by a poor farmer from her savings for our secondary transports. She wanted to remain anonymous, so she was represented by her lawyer, but I asked and spoke to her on the phone to say a big thank you.”
