The PASOK Member of Parliament PASOK is taking fires at Alexis Tsipras, questioning his political course and strategy in the opposition.
PASOK PASOK Paris Koukoulopoulos used a couth political discourse, opening a frontal confrontation with former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, during his television appearance on ERTnews. Koukoulopoulos, commenting on both the intra-party discussions on political partnerships and the overall strategy of the opposition, sent a clear message of independence for PASOK, rejecting the logic of dependence between parties and raising the tone of the political confrontation. At the same time, he made particularly harsh references to the course of SYRIZA under the leadership of Alexis Tsipras, linking its electoral retreat with the political choices of the opposition’s period, while he did not hesitate to repeat in public discussion historical and political spikes that rekindle the clash between PASOK and SYRIZA in the current political scene.
“No serious party in the world is a side-kick to another party. All the parties we are a sidekick of the people and the homeland,” PASOK MP from Kozani, Paris Koukoulopoulos, said on ERTnews’ show “Political Kitchen.”
The spikes
“I hear that PASOK has internal problems about partnerships. Straight talk, no serious party in the world is a sidekick to another party. All parties we are the people’s and the country’s sidekick.”
Then the Kozani MP attacked Alexis Tsipras, saying that as the official opposition he managed to take SYRIZA from 32% to 17%.
“Did Tsipras say in 2015 that he would work with Mr. Kamenos, who called Andreas Papandreou the leader of November 17, and today he talks about PASOKs and Andreas Papandreou? Which Andreas Papandreou? The one who was the leader of 17 November according to Kamenos or the one who was not?”
“Let’s not start this discussion, so as not to go back to 1989, because with Mitsotakis only the whole Left that Tsipras and Koutsoubas are trying to reconstitute together with Koutsoubas, were made to take Andreas to the Special Court. Let’s leave this joke with PASOK like this because we have plenty of stitches for their fur and Tsipras will not tell us that he will be in opposition. Tsipras has the pan-European record, not to say world record, that as an official opposition he managed 32% to make it 17%. There is no such precedent in Europe.”
“The fact that he wrote a whole book to tell us that he is not credited, this result, I know that the result of the elections, whenever they come, positive or negative for PASOK, will be charged and credited to Nikos Androulakis. He told us that we all deserve nothing in Parliament. And what exactly did he come to do? Wasn’t he in the opposition for four years and he managed to get his party halfway there?”
